Prof. Savino M. Di Stasi graduated from University of L’Aquila Medical School (1986) and completed his urology training in 1989 at The University of Bari. He subsequently spent a year as a Fellow at National Cancer Institute in Milan (1990). He earned his PhD-degree in “Diagnostic and operative technologies in urology” at University of Perugia (1991-1994), whit his dissertation: “A laboratory model to study intravesical therapy”. In 1992 he became a Fellow of The European Board of Urology. He is now the Chief of the Operative Unit of Urologic Oncology and Associate Professor of Urology within the Department of Surgery at Tor Vergata University of Rome. His clinical practice is in urologic oncology and neuro-urology, with research interests in bladder cancer, prostate cancer and neurological voiding dysfunctions.
