Charles E. Stallins

Charles E. Sta1l1ns, 68, of 70 1 Macedonia Rd., Mayfteld, died at 10:17 p.m. Sunday, April 8. 2001, at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfteld. He was a native of Hopkinsville, attended Austin Peay State University in ClarksVille, Tenn., was a retired agent for State Farm Insurance Companies with 31 years of service, was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean War, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and its Pathfinders Sunday School Class. Mr. Stallins also formerly served as a Scoutmaster, youth Sunday School teacher and chairman of the church’s Administrative Board, was past president of the Mayfield Optimist and Lions clubs, and was a member of Mayfteld Lodge F&AM #369.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Gough Stallins, two daughters, two step-daughters, a step-son, a ha1f-brother, one granddaughter, six step-granddaughters, and two step-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
