superficial bladder cancer, polyps on the urethra

diagnosed again 9/2003 another spot. :o( surgery again 2/2004

I was having back problems, I had always had a lot of problems with frequency but it was assumed it was from the births of my children and my hysterectomy. My back doctor sent me to see a urologist because of the problems I was having that were not related to my back. My doctor did one of the tests with the cameras and found the tumor. He removed it November 28 2001, I have to go back in march of this year to be checked, and I have already had to go back once for pain and

Papillary Grade III

Husband just had TUR on 10/26/01 - not sure about stage, just Grade III. We are a wreck!!! Cannot sleep, cannot eat, just worry and think. Last of 6 BCG done on Jan 4, 2002.
Question is - Why don't we just have the bladder removed now before it spreads?
Path report reads no spread to vascular or lymph, but into lamina propria small amount.

I'm thinking we should just have the darn bladder out now before it becomes invasive into muscle?

Transitional cell papillary carcinoma of the bladder Grade I-II

I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 1987 at the age of 39. I had no symptoms other than occasional spotting after urination. This went on for a year. Finally, one day I had tea-colored urine. I ended up going to a urologist at the hospital where I work. I had a cystoscopy and was diagnosed with the bladder cancer. He sent me to the University of Michigan Medical Center where I had to have two TURs one in May 1987 and one in September 1987. My bladder was saved. The tumor had been breaking off and seeding on the floor of

Original Dx:  Single TCC, stage Ta, grade III/IV

I reported occasional flecks of blood in my urine for nearly two years to my primary care physician, who studiously ignored me.  I finally demanded to be referred to a urologist.  The uro found microscopic (occult) blood in my urine and scheduled me for an IVP series (negative) and cystoscope (positive).

Had my first TURB on 6/25/2001 with a 2cm TCC removed and sent to the pathologist (see stage and grade above).  I completed my first round of 6 BCG instillations on 9/14.  No side effects at all except for a little tiredness and some burning

bladdercancer(TCC);tumor posterior wall,grade I,non-invasive T1;tumor left lateral wall,TA,high gradeII-III,superficial invasion of lamina propria.

Was hospitalized in Nov. 2000 for severe kidney infection. Bleeding, pain, etc. Dr. thought I had passed a kidney stone. Started bleeding again Dec. 26 and Jan. 1, 2001. Dr. requested an IVP be done and two tumors showed in bladder. Had TUR to remove tumors. Tests also showed mass on right kidney. Had kidney surgery in Feb. 2001 to remove benign mass. Started 6 weeks of BCG treatments about 4 weeks after kidney surgery. Had 3 months off

Left Renal Pelvic Tumor: TCC, grade II of III, papillary type. No apparent invasion into the lamina propria.

I had my story written the other night when a storm came up and lightning struck my modem before I got my story sent. How distressing!
My story begins in June of 1994 when I became very ill with back pain and fever. At first, I thought I had just injured my back at work (I was working at a sawmill). When the pain and fever became unbearable, I called my doctor's office. Wouldn't you know it, my doctor was on vacation and I had to see a doctor unknown to me.
Dr. X took a urine

TCC bladder cancer (invasive),Stage T2 N0 M0, Grade IV (aggressive)

Followup:

Renal sonogram and bloodwork post-op three months were "good". CAT scan and chest X-rays were moved up a month (five instead of six) due to occasional pain in lower back/kidneys. Results for cancer were negative. No explanation for the pain.

The scan did confirm a hernia at the stoma site. Since it's mainly cosmetic and causing no pain, nothing will be done about it for now. The Dr. says that repair has it's own set of problems.

My husband's adjustment to the external urinary diversion (external bag) has been

Transitional Cell Carcinoma stage 3 with involvement of the limina propria

I was diagnosed a month ago and had the tumor removed via a transurethral whatever. Now I am having six weeks of BCG and just learning to live with it. Not fun yet, that's for sure. Just discovered this site and am finding it wonderful...

Had six weeks of BCG during August and September and in October my doctor went in and did another biopsy and look around. I received the results a week ago and everything is clear and clean. I have tried to change eating and living habits to take even better care of myself and

Transitional cell carcinoma, recent Radical Cystectomy

I am a 49 year old male. In October of 1992, I was diagnosed with Superficial Bladder Cancer. The tumor was malignant and quite large, but had not become invasive. 6 weeks after the tumor was removed, we did the BCG therapy. It was successful, and for the next 5 years there was no recurrence. I had regular cysto's, and occasional biopsies and IVP's. On the last cysto, there were some red areas in the bladder and we did a biopsy and ureter washings. It was then that we found CIS in the right ureter. A stint was inserted into the
