My baby boys started school this is harder to deal with than any bc I spent all morning crying and missed him so much.
I am either running 5K every morning or swimming for 40 minutes its fantastic to feel fit again and see my muscle tone improving.

Got the all clear this morning.
Thats the first year gone without any sign of spread or relapse which is fantastic news.I have decided to have a bbq tonight to celebrate so I am just whizzing off do a big shop and get organised.
The check up went really well my doctor is really pleased with my progress and general health.I have the all clear to start running again which is great.So alls well in Claires world once more or at least until the next checkup.

Hi All
It seems so long since I updated this I thought it was time to add a bit to it.
Life is pretty good I have settled back into work with no real issues but I have decided to stay part time.I am really enjoying the extra time that gives me with the children and I still seem to get tired if I do too much.That might just be age getting to me though or just a normal Mum thing trying to work keep the house tidy cook and run round after three lively kids.

Well my journey back to the real world continues.It was my first day back at work today I spent the day with a trainer to try and bring me back up to speed and will be with him again tomorrow.It feels really odd almost as if I have never been away but at the same time it feels as if its part of a different world.
  I am feeling pretty upbeat and ready for the challenge it was odd putting work clothes on this morning I have got so used to just pulling on jeans and a t shirt.To have to wear makeup and a suit seemed strange and when I looked in the mirror it didnt look like me.Although thats

Well I have finally got the all clear again.Its been a scary few weeks and I have really struggled to hold it all together. But we managed it eventually after going this morning for a more detailed scan my consultant seemed happy that currently all is clear.He was concerned about the swelling in my leg and pain I keep getting in my pelvic bone together with some abnormal blood results and my lack of weight gain.As you can see if you put it all together it doesnt look promising hence the scary.
However he sent me for a whole body scan at a hospital with a better scanning machine and again that

IVE BEEN SKIING
We have had a fantastic time I honestly couldnt believe how great and how well I felt.Promising myself this holiday was the thing that kept me focused when things were not so great.
I wasnt The Herminator or anything but skied every morning with my long suffering husband then had lunch before taking my little boy back to the hotel where we both had a nap.Most days we went back out to have the last few runs with Steve and the girls or play in the snow we even went toboganning.We went to Lech in Austria which was just perfect.The snow was lovely and the resort picture postcard

I HAVE FLUFF.
You couldnt really call it hair its so soft I noticed it a bit yesterday but its definate now I am no longer completely hairless.
Its so exciting I cant wait to have to wax my legs again.Theres something I never thought I would be saying.

I AM OFFICIALLY FREE OF DISEASE
Every test showed nothing blood levels are still low after chemotherapy and I am still a skinny bald runt but currently I dont have cancer.How cool does that sound.I cant wait to start looking like Kylie (realistically thats not going to happen) but I feel pretty good.My urologist is going to continue seeing me every three months until at least two years due to the likelihood of recurrance being highest until then but he is really chuffed with my progress.
I saw a lovely gynae she was so kind and is going to try and sort my problems in that area out.I have

Just to show things can be normal I have just had a fantastic day.
Its snowed like mad here and the children were all off school.I was supposed to go to a Spa that specialises in treatments and therapies for cancer patients and had to cancel due to the weather I had been looking forward to it so was disappointed.
I am so glad I did instead of a day centering on me and this disease I 've had a ball.We got the sledges out and took them to the field over the lane which has a good slope on it.I spent all morning whizzing up and down the field with the children my friend came out with her

Well we are doing Ok
We have all had awful colds and I nearly ended up in hospital with a chest infection but things are slowly getting better.
Weight continues to be an issue and I must try to put some on,other issues are tiredness and loss of feeling in my fingers and feet.Typing takes forever hence very short messages.I have had a few crisis lately one caused by friends and family having babies I would have so loved another child and feel so sad that the option has been taken away from me. I had a truely awful leak issue yesterday we went shopping and I must have caught my bag leaning over
