35 years old, dipped Kodiak snuff (tobacco) for ~20 years - probably the cause.

So, I am learning quickly.. a week and a half ago March 1st, 2006, just started urinating blood out of the blue at work (Gross Hematuria), went to my overworked HMO GP and they diagnosed me with a probable UTI and sent me away with a prescription for antibiotics and told me to check back in 2 weeks.  So, Monday March 4th, 2006 I went back to the GP and said my Gross Hematuria (with clotting) was still real bad and that the antibiotics were not working, they made an appointment the same day for me to get checked out

T1, Grade III urelethial bladder cancer with CIS

Me: diagnosed at age 43, non-smoker, very light drinker, no family history, worked 2 summers during college at an oil refinery, but used all prescribed safety equipment, very physically active (competitive volleyball and softball player), with a computer database/programming career.

My Story: I began having pain while urinating and slight urgency the last week of Oct. 2005. A week later I got antibiotics for what looked to be a urinary tract infection (microscopic blood on stick, WBC slightly askew). It didn't help. Culture was negative for

TURB 7/07/04 high grade stage 1, second TURB 11/03/04 high grade T1
Radical Cystectomy (12/27/04 ) high grade T3aN0Mx

In early 2004 I experienced pain and blood upon urination while visiting Hawaii. Upon my return to the mainland I visited my local Uroligist who performed a Cystocophy and announced that I had bladder cancer. On 7/07/04 I was scheduled for an outpatient Transuretheral Resection and Biopsy (TURB) and was informed there was a possibility I would be hospitalized. Due
to the tumor being over 5 cm and surrounding the ureter from my right kidney a stint was necessary and constant

Papillary tumor stage T1 Grade IV/IV plus CIS

Completely out of the blue (isn't it always?!) on October 2nd, 2003, I experienced blood in my urine. 40 years old and no known risk factors. IVP scan the following day showed no abnormalities, though urine cytology suggested presence of malignancy. Cystoscopy on October 7th under general anaesthetic revealed single papillary tumor (hiding in a diverticulum of the bladder) and CIS. Tumor removed and graded IV/IV and Stage T1. Had single instillation of Mytomycin (chemo), followed by six weekly instillations of BCG. Half way through BCG

bladder cancer, urothelial cells, stage T1 with invasion to lamina propria, grade II

10/20/03
My partner, Tim, (43 years old, male) was recently diagnosed (2 weeks ago) with bladder cancer. They removed a 5 cm tumor from his bladder, have diagnosed it as T1, grade 2 urothelial carcinoma. We do not yet have an oncologist, but are looking for one and would like any suggestions about treatment that has worked, important questions you ask of your doctor, other things to rule out (we insisted that he have a chest xray and abdominal CT scan), alternative therapies, etc. etc. We are scared and sad

Bladder Cancer T1,Grade II

February 1999, noticed urine was dark in color...thought it was due to too much coffee, or not drinking enough water...just ignored it. Noticed it several times more and didn't think too much about it.

In October, when I went to my internist for my annual physical the urine was dark in the morning, and I happened to mention it to her.

The next thing I knew I was in the lab for a urine specimen...the urine was dark brown! I was horrified. I was scheduled for a pelvic ultrasound the next day, and an appointment with a urologist.

Lots of tests,...then a TUR at the

superficial T0 and T1 bladder tumors.

No family history; non-smoker; no occupational related causes that I know of.

Underwent 6 weeks of BCG treatment. Entered a clinical trial for Celecoxib to reduce recurrence. Tumors recurred four months later. Currently set for tumor resection and participating in an antibiotic drug study at Baylor College of Medicine at the Texas Medical Center in

Two superficial tumors, one stage T0, one T1, + Cis, all grade II/III. Treated with BCG, then Mitomycin. Clean for the last year.

I was 56 years old at diagnosis in 1994. Had actually gone to the urologist to see if I could have a collagen procedure for incontinence. He did lots of tests including an IVP. He said he knew that I had BlCa because I had told him that my bladder "tingled" all the time. He discovered 3 tumors, 2 papillaries (the kind that look like a cluster of grapes) and 1 area of CIS (the "flat" tumor). I had a TURBT to remove that. After another laser surgery, because I still

TCC, two papillary tumors, T1 (lamina invasive), grade II/III. TURB 01/12/00.

My tale begins during my wife's and my annual (November, 1999)trek to Ohio for a family visit. I experienced difficulty in urinating while on the trip, ended up in the motel bathroom all night not able to urinate but eventually passing blood. That prompted me to wake my wife, Nelda, up for a trip to the emergency room. The DR said I had a bladder infection, gave me some antibiotics, and said to see my family DR upon my return.

Things got better within about 24 hours, and I made it back to Texas with the help of
