Bladder Cancer--Papilloma Tumors Stage 3 of 4. Carcinoma in situ (CIS) of the bladder lining.

I had a rare bladder tumor cancer. I don't know how to spell the name of the tumor.

In 1975 I had bladder cancer,I was 20 years old. They did a colon conduit. My doctors were wonderful.After 25 years I had two parastomal hernias and they did a Indiana Pouch which I love. The freedom is great.I still have trouble with leaking but I am hoping to fine out why this is still going on after a year.

Bladder cancer

I am an 85 year old man who has been in excellent health until March 2001 when I was diagonized with Bladder Cancer and also Prostate Cancer. A small tumor was removed from my bladder a year ago and I was given the 6 once a week BCG (TB related) treatments. After the first treatmernt of BCG I ran a fever for a day but had no problems at all after the following 5 treatments. My bladder was checked with a cystoscope in March 2002 and found to be clear. I am due for another check up next month.

1st stage bladder cancer, one tumor, superficial, high
grade

Tumor removed immediately during biopsi, started two
weeks later with BCG for six weeks, had very little
side effects besided one bladder infection, extremely
tired and annoying bladder during the day of treatment.
August 28, had 2nd biopsi and was cancer free. Started
September on Maintenance of BCG once a month for the next year. Nov. had another scope test and was clear.

I was having back problems, I had always had a lot of problems with frequency but it was assumed it was from the births of my children and my hysterectomy. TCC bladder cancer (invasive),Stage T2 N0 M0, Grade IV (aggressive)

Followup:

Renal sonogram and bloodwork post-op three months were "good". CAT scan and chest X-rays were moved up a month (five instead of six) due to occasional pain in lower back/kidneys. Results for cancer were negative. No explanation for the pain.

The scan did confirm a hernia at the stoma site. Since it's mainly cosmetic and causing no pain, nothing will be done about it for now. The Dr. says that repair has it's own set of problems.

Bladder Cancer, Grade I-II of III, TA, non-invasive. Very Large, covered 3/4 of bladder. Papillary TCC. no treatments yet, watch closley.

Bladder Cancer T1,Grade II

February 1999, noticed urine was dark in color...thought it was due to too much coffee, or not drinking enough water...just ignored it. Noticed it several times more and didn't think too much about it.

In October, when I went to my internist for my annual physical the urine was dark in the morning, and I happened to mention it to her.
