My mom was diagnosed with stage 1 non-ivasive bladder cancer last year.

My mom was diagnosed early last year with the non-invasive stage 1 tumor on her bladder wall. She went 9 months with clean exams every three months. October 2005 she was diagnosed again with another tumor, that hadn't invaded the wall. The doctor removed that one and She did 6 weeks of BCG and went for a 6 week post treatment check-up yesterday. The doctor saw somthing on the cystoscopy and she has to go in for another biopsy next week. I don't know what to tell her anymore, the doctor doesn't know why the BCG failed and I

Preliminary cystoscopy reveals 2 areas of cancer.
Biopsy and scraping coming up on the 25th of May.

I had extreme back pain on left side. My primary physician diagnosed possible kidney stones. I had MRI, IVP and other Xrays. During my stay in the ER, I passed clots of blood. The pain subsided and I was released. I was referred to Urology, where I had a 3 day urine exam. This exam showed abnormal cells. A cystoscopy revealed 2 areas of cancer growing.
I will be having biopsy and scraping next week. After that

superficial non-invasive

Christmas Day 2004, suddenly began to pee blood - no discomfort, no pain - baffled!
Went to see my GP ASAP - recommended I type 'Haematuria' into browser and read up on possible causes - of course I found 'Bladder Cancer' to be the most probable cause. This was confirmed after a cystoscopy a week later. A few weeks later I was admitted into Addenbrookes Hospital where I agreed to have an epidural and watched the whole operation on a monitor - very interesting it was too. The whole thing went very smoothly and I've felt perfectly well through out. I had a small set

86 year old with bladder Ca.

My mother's first cystoscopy--this week--revealed over 12 tumors in her bladder. The Dr. clearly and openly indicated that he was sure that they are malignant. He commented on how old and fragmented some of them looked. He's scheduled a TUR for her in two weeks.

She has a pronounced personality disorder (Not Alhz) and can be argumentative and very difficult for people to deal with--she's been downplaying these symptoms but in general has been stoic about past health problems, pain, etc. to the point of masochism during my whole life experience with her. It's a

papillary tumor - carcinoma stage 2

August 2004 - Finished 6 weeks of BCG in June. Have another cystoscopy on August 30th, and maintenance treatment in the fall. I am hoping for a clean scope.

Have you ever heard of someone under 30 being diagnosed??

Had blood in the urine off and on. Never had bladder infections before but I was told by doctors that this (the blood) was a symptom of an infection. I had no other infection symptoms such as burning etc...just the bleeding. Finally, I had an ultrasound which showed a growth of some kind. I specifically asked (my GP) if it could be cancer, the

Grade 3 cancer of bladder.

Hello,
I’m Tony Balita and will be turning 65 in December, living in Bumpass, VA and being treated at the UVA (University of Virginia Medical Center) in Charlottesville.
The urologists first informed me that I had Grade 3 (invaded the muscular wall of the bladder) on October 8, 20002.
Since then I’ve spend many hours online and at Bladder Cancer Web Café and slowly picking up all the new terminology associated with this beast.
As best that I can recall, it was about 1.5 years ago, maybe a few months longer that my first symptoms were manifest. First

Bladder tumor found growing into lamina propria with CIS in rest of bladder. Grade I or II of III.

I was diagnosed with bladder cancer at age 35 in 1994. I had blood in the urine and could actually feel the tumor for some reason. My doctors cannot understand this. I had a TURBT with multiple biopsies and was found to have CIS and the tumor was growing into the lamina propria. Cystectomy was advised. I refused at that point opting for BCG, Mitomycin C and Adriamycin. I am also a patient at UCLA Med Ctr but have not been back in a few years as my last two biopsies show dysplasia only. Most

Papillary tumor of the bladder.

Since late 1998, was being seen by my urologistRed Bank, N.J.) for prostatitus. During the course of my treatment(mainly anitbiotics), red blood cells were observed under microscpoic examination of my urine. While initially thought to be due to the infection, the doctor recommended a more thorough workup. An IVP was done which was negative. The resulting X-rays were examined by both the radiologist as well as the urologist.
I was also scheduled(3/1999) for a cystoscopy which was done in the day stay surgery unit at the hospital. When the cysto was performed
