papillary tumor - carcinoma stage 2

August 2004 - Finished 6 weeks of BCG in June. Have another cystoscopy on August 30th, and maintenance treatment in the fall. I am hoping for a clean scope.

Have you ever heard of someone under 30 being diagnosed??

Had blood in the urine off and on. Never had bladder infections before but I was told by doctors that this (the blood) was a symptom of an infection. I had no other infection symptoms such as burning etc...just the bleeding. Finally, I had an ultrasound which showed a growth of some kind. I specifically asked (my GP) if it could be cancer, the

Superficial-stage 1.

Went thru another poke and peek--clean now for over 14 months. Hopefull the TCC is a thing of the past. Got my fingers crossed.

Now I am facing a different cancer--adenocarcinoma of the prostate. I am scheduled for a radical prostatectomy on May 6. The Doc was shocked--my PSA was only 0.08. Oh well, I suppose this is what life is all about.

June 9, 2004
I have been clean from the BC for 15 months. No "poke and peek" until Oct. 13. But did a radical prostectomy last month for the adenocarcinomaof the prostate. Believe me, it was a real "bitch". Worse than any TUR or

STAGE 4 SCC OF BLADDER

My father-in-law, Bob , has stage 4 Squamous cell carcinoma of the bladder.
that has spread to his pelvic area like a spider web. A removal of bladder was attempted last year in Feb 2003. Due to the spreading web like condition the doctors decided to let it go. During the year we were all suprised that his chemo treatments every other week gave no side effects. Bob was living a semi-normal life.
In january of 2004 the Docotrs went in again to remove his bladder because chemo was going so well and cancer was not found in cat scans. But once again the cancer was the same,

Bladder Tumor

My father has had difficulty with his bladder tumor reoccuring. I am looking for information that may help in his treatment. Any personal experiences with Biological Response Modifiers eg

Superficial, TA3 (?), 2 tumors removed 01/16/2003 @ M.D. Anderson, Houston, Texas.

7/28/03-Scheduled for my 3rd TURB very likely.
Dr. wants to put me under to do a biopsy. Last
TURB, he found eight superficial tumors. One
looked like it might be a little deeper than the
rest. I just finished 6 weeks of BCG. Hopefully,
I can start 3 weeks treatment after the biopsy.
I don't want to start over again, that's for sure. Wish me luck.

Incomplete at this time

I am a 47 year old male. I have been a research biologist working with wildlife and wildlife diseases for about 20 years so i should know better than what I have done to date. As far as I can tell I really don't fit any "risk groups" which from my readings doesn't mean much, not a smoker (bit of grass when younger)no dyes or such but maybe a lot of formalin when I was younger from my lab work. I have been looking through this site and others for the last couple of weeks. I recently (2 weeks ago) got a surprise christmas present in the form of a suspicion of Bladder

Grade 3 cancer of bladder.

Hello,
I’m Tony Balita and will be turning 65 in December, living in Bumpass, VA and being treated at the UVA (University of Virginia Medical Center) in Charlottesville.
The urologists first informed me that I had Grade 3 (invaded the muscular wall of the bladder) on October 8, 20002.
Since then I’ve spend many hours online and at Bladder Cancer Web Café and slowly picking up all the new terminology associated with this beast.
As best that I can recall, it was about 1.5 years ago, maybe a few months longer that my first symptoms were manifest. First

diverticulum of the bladder with grade 3 cancer inside the diverticulum.

I am from Frisco, Texas and was searching for information on my bladder cancer and found your storyboard on the Web cafe Internet site. I too am having a hard time accepting my problem. I went to my local physician to have a prescription filed for my high blood pressure. During that visit I was asking a lot of questions in regard to stroke problems so his Physician’s assistant noticed I was over 50 (I am 51) and scheduled a full physical for my next visit. I had the works that day, stress test, EKG, prostrate exam,

Right posterior wall bladder tumor

In 1998, my Dad Chester at age 71 was diagnosed with an elevated PSA level. The Urologist at Hackensack University Medical Center, which he was sent to for consultation, told him he was a prime candidate for prostate cancer. The recommendation was to receive Lupron injections and undergo radiation treatments. Additionally upon further recommendation, my Dad chose radiation seed implants to treat the spread of this cancer.

In July- August of this year, he began passing blood in his urine. He returned to the same Urologist who performed the seed implant for

CIS, not into bladder wall yet.

March 31, 2003. "It's back.............". I thought I was doing so well!! Felt better than I've felt in the past 12 months. BUT, last cysto (10 days ago) revealed BCG treatments were "not working" per doc. So, I have an appt. with Dr. Smith at Vanderbilt next Monday, 4/6/03. My "local doc" who has administered the BCG treatments, off and on for past 12 months, says it's time to review my options. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS????? My thoughts, today, are that if they remove the bladder, and I have to wear that @#*@ bag, I'd just as soon let the cancer take over.
