Thought I'd provide a quick update. October 10th will be 7 weeks post-op for me.

At week 5 the Super Pubic tube was removed... my last. This was a bitter sweet moment. I was not a fan of the tube, but I knew after this, I was on my own. Evenings have been trying. I found out I had grade 4, stage 3 bladder cancer 6 weeks ago. All the urologists wanted to remove the bladder, prostrate, etc. I am a fairly young man (58), and I was not content with that path of treatment. Something in my gut gold me there must be a better way. I got a second opinion from one of the leading universities (UCSF). I found this web forum which I think its a great place where to share our concerns about bladder cancer. We are both argentines, living in Argentina. My husband, Carlos, now 57, was diagnosed with bc five years ago, very low grade and superficial (excuse my english). After many recurances and resecctions we are still fighting this battle. Hi everyone, well its been a bit of a struggle as the doctors still arnt sure of what and where my problems are, i had the 6 x BCG which i finished ten weeks ago!all went realy well had vertually no side effects at all.
