Chemotherapy Notes

Thanks for all the replies.  I just read them to my husband. It helps to know the reactions that others are having. He had a really rough day today.  He was plagued with constipation for a few days and now diarrhea. Tomorrow is Gemzar. We hope he has an upward turn before the next round.

    Funny you mention the hair situation....My hair thinned alot during the chemo (cisplatin/gemzar)- and even now - 6 weeks after the last dose -it still is. However, I had red hair before, and what is growing in now is black and curly with some straight white hair. I feel like a mutt puppy. I am going to a beautician who has personal and proffessional experience with chemo related hair probs to get some ideas on what to do with it. Wish I had more info to give ya. Holly
