Chemotherapy Notes

Well, 1/3 of the scheduled chemo treatment is over. We were told that my husband's CBC was fine, so he had his quick treatment of Gemzar.  He is still very tired, but no nausea or vomiting. Around the injection site is very sore/painful. Much worse that last week. Anyone else had this problem?

I went through same treatment in 2005, 17 years after initial diagnosis.

No hair loss, but it did stop growing for a while - saved some hairdressers bills so not all bad news!

No nausea bur did get increasing tiredness and after last round got pneumonia which hit me hard.

However 2 years on everything has been all clear. I just got home after my fourth cystoscopy and they have scheduled the next one for 12 months.
