Rosemary, how areyou doing today?  If I understand all this your tumor was low grade and noninvasive... TaG1?  I'm still having trouble understanding all this.  The grade starts at 1, right?  How big was it?  When do you get scoped again?  In three months?  I hope you are feeling better.  take care, elaine

I am actually doing very well.  The last BCG was not as bad as the previous, though there was a bit of blood and nasty burning.

I go back in December for a cystoscopy and then face the BCG's again in 6 months.

My bad path was T1 G3, but not real sure.  It jumped up real quick from a T1 G1, like in a month's time.   The bad pathology was taken from residual tumor.  The next two biopsies (after the bad one)
were completely free of cancer.

I don't know. ...

I feel great ....well not great but good, considering my age (I'm 54).

My husband was diagnosed with bladder cancer in Nov. 05 at age 54.  Since his surgery, he's had the initial 6 BCG treatments followed by 2 more sets (a series of 3).  He had the last treatment on Friday, Oct. 27.  Like you, he's had a lot of burning and blood (usually the first day only).  He gets a lot of pain in his lower back also.  His next cystoscopy is on Dec. 6th and he'll begin BCG treatments again in 6 months.  His check ups have all been good and we expect good news next month as well.  My best to you and I'll keep you in my prayers.  Take care.
