Thanks

Everything seems to be going well. Next check cistoscopy due around October.

Only problem is getting back to full fitness after chemo and radiotherapy. It takes a while to get strength back but I'm really convinced the treatment route I went for was the right one for me.

Interesting story David and thanks for sharing.  I have T2 low grade - and thought myself put out by having gone through 4 turbs, a few laser treatments, 2 bcg regiments,  an inferon regiment,  and a very heavy chemo regiment., but I must admit you take the cake.    40 turbs!  There is nothing we won't go through  to keep standing!

I am also undergoing the radiation/chemotherapy route and will be finished with my 25 sessions on Tuesday.    Now  a cat scan to see what progress has been made.

Anyway I am very glad to hear that you came up clean after radiation  - particularly after what you've been through, and I know what that is.   Perhaps you can enjoy some worry free time now.

By the way I can concur with you on the side effects - you're not alone there

Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks Mike and good luck

I'd say I'm now just about back to the energy levels and fitness I had before the start of chemo/radiotherapy. We've started a new business this year and things are going well, though of course there's always nervousness about the next cystoscopy check (which will be October).

I'll post an update after that and let you know progress but so far everything is good

Best wishes to everybody here

Just back from check cystoscopy. All clear and next one scheduled for 12 months.

two years on from chemo and radiotherapy, I feel great and energy levels pretty much back to normal.

So far the choice of none surgical treatment seems to have been the right one.

Good luck to all my fellow travellers out there. I feel very priviledged today to have such a positive outcome. Of course we don't know when it might change but right now it feels great!
