i don't know what to expect. will i wake up after surgery in a lot of pain or moderate? when will i be able to get up, and how long till i eat? i had a hysterectomy when i was 22- am 54 now, so i don't have to deal with that part of the operation. what about sexual function?  will i be fairly normal after- aside from my plumbing on the outside. is it hard to take care of an ileal conduit? please, anyone that can help answer my questions- and ones i haven't even thought of- will be of alot of help to me. i ask my doctor alot, but he's never gone thru it himself. i think only someone who has gone thru it would really know. thank you.
