Ileal conduit vs. neobladder for older male

I am seeking information for my dad concerning RC.  He was diagnosed with BC 8 years ago at age 68.  Diagnosed as CIS.  Has undergone several instillations of BCG and the last one included interferon.  He is 76 years old and has been told by his doctor that he needs RC.  He is unsure about what to do and is depressed concerning this.  It would help for him to hear from other older individuals who have had RC and the type of urinary diversion that was used.  He is considering the ileal conduit but what about the neobladder  (Koch?)?  I would appreciate any information that anyone can give.
