A good friend was diagnosed with bladder cancer… transitional cell… they had planned to do the bowel bag and stoma surgery but she is a quadrapeligic and they won't be able to perform this operation due to the rare binder she has to wear around her abdomen. We haven't been able to find any information on bladder transplants that might work or anything for that matter. She is a single mom of a teen son and so far the doctors at Mayo Clinic in Rochester say there is nothing they can do. Does anyone know someone who may have possible treatment options?
