I am new to this site, and looking for some advice from others with more experience.
My father was recently diagnosed with a tumor in his bladder. They found it on ultrasound, and then the doctor did a "cysto….whatever it is called". That test confirmed the tumor, but he did not take a biopsy.
I was under the impression that he would take a biopsy during this procedure. Should he have?
Also, would he be able to tell what type of tumor/cancer he was seeing just by this scope procedure?
Problem is that my dad doesn't want to have any more testing, or treatment. I am okay with his decision, but I just feel like we don't really know what we are dealing with.
