Now for the surgery part. Dr. Schoenberg went in after fluffy,(for those of you that don't know that's what I call the b.c.) and then I woke up in the recovery room knocked for a lope! They said they we're going to make sure I didn't crawl off the table, lol. I think I am still under the influence because I can't think of the rigt way to spell lope! oh well, Dr.S came to talk to me for a minute ,and now I just wait for the path report. But what I really wanted to know is how soon I could go skiing ! For me skiing first thing is like going to the gym, it's how I try to beat the chronic pain I am in, I get those endorphines going!! Right now it is snowing like crazy so I guess tomorrow I will be a good girl and not ski, but I like to blow snow with my snow blower and thats what I will be doing . For those of you interested in the b.c. part of my life…. I felt no pain during the procedure ,when I woke up they gave me more pain meds, when I peed the first several times I thought cool, this doesn't hurt . Tonight when I pee theres a sharp pain at first and my stomach is still bloated from the air they put in you ,but compared to the pain I deal with on a daily basis this isn't to much.Thank heavens!
Now on to the path report, am I worried abot it ? No. I might kill myself this weekend skiing or get run over by a truck before the report comes out so why worry about it, I will deal with what ever happens when it happens. For now Dr. S. cut out fluffy and thats good enough for me.
I pray for you guys when I plow ,shovel, and blow snow. also when I clean all the stalls for my horses, and when I ride the chairlift, and most of all when I hike. You are all very brave people going down a hard road in this wonderful life we share. Love from Rocky. P.S. when I am skiing down the face I only pray for myself , to make it to the bottom in one piece!!! LOL ! I know you wouldn't mind !
